We are delighted with your feedback and are very pleased that you like our gins so much.

With a great deal of commitment, we have once again been able to create a special gin for you.
First of all, his name: “The Ocean Drop”.

We have succeeded in combining Caribbean flavors and crowning this gin with a fantastic WOW effect.

This gin will greet you with a hint of sun-ripened coconut, a hint of pineapple and other flavors on the tongue.

As soon as you combine it with your favorite tonic, it will change its typical blue, as we know it from the oceans, for you. A turquoise color is created before your eyes, the likes of which you won’t find anywhere else in the world.
You’re holding a gin and tonic in your hand that will immediately put you in the vacation mood!

The Cold Drop Gin Story – What happened next

After a year and the success of our gins, we decided it was time to create something new. We have spoken to many of you and collected wishes and ideas. We have incorporated this into a new product with a great deal of patience and high expectations of the result. It was clear to us from the start that it had to be something special. Just like gin lovers are something special.

The result is a product that has been developed and refined with great attention to detail. That’s why the gin had to be given a special name.

Gold is associated with the brilliance of the sun and is considered the color of gods, emperors and kings. Gold is the epitome of sunlight and has always given people great strength and extraordinary inspiration.
This gave rise to the name “The Gold Drop”, which describes its valuable ingredients and value. Its taste and color will impress you and it will certainly be a highlight in your bar.

The Cold Drop Gin Story – How it all began

Trip, trip, aauuuuffffstehen…. This is how the captain greeted us in his morning speech. Admittedly, we were often still in bed then and started the day with a grin at the wake-up call and with the forecast from Hugo, the weatherman. Quiet, quiet, quiet…. we glided gently over the water. As always, on such trips automatically meet those people who fit well together. We quickly became part of a clique that laughed a lot and had a lot of fun together.
Many sea days on the Atlantic lay ahead of us. We bridged these with tastings and workshops from almost all areas of culinary arts. We learned how to knead pasta dough as well as stir the corresponding pestos, how to properly make strudel, bake bread, mix cocktails and much more.
As long-time gin lovers, we are excited about the gin workshop and the seeds were sown and began to sprout in our minds. The pleasure manager (yes, there really is such a thing!) on board, Mr. Tamer from Turkey, took every question seriously and selflessly passed on his knowledge. The first tests were very exciting.
Quickly the idea is born to make a gin ourselves when we are back home.

2022

At the beginning a total snap idea….
But back in everyday life, we actually started experimenting. The first attempts are interesting, but still far from our imagination. After countless attempts, we have finally developed a promising gin.

A distiller friend offers us the use of his boiler for a first firing on 19.04.2022. The result is terrific. We are thrilled! But it’s not enough that it only tastes good to us. Friends are recruited for tastings and we present our gin to a renowned gin sommelier. The feedback encouraged us and motivated us to go into production so that you can benefit too!

This is how “The Blue Drop” and its strong brother “The Blue Drop – Navy Strength” were created , which we would like to share with you.
